What's the story on shipping?

Our soap is heavy, and that makes for expensive shipping! The good news is that we pay for shipping on orders over $20 to the same address.

Does your soap contain lanolin or other animal products?

No, our soap is vegan. It also doesn't contain palm or coconut oil or microbeads.

Can I use this like regular soap?

Yes, we do! It was designed to be an every day bath and shower soap. It cleanses thoroughly but gently and has an incredible lather.

What are the inside pieces made of?

All of the decorations in our soap are...soap! The inserts are simply soap that we have colored and hand shaped to create whimsical designs that make Glyss soap what it is.

May I bathe my child with Glyss soap?

Many parents have thanked us for our Watermelon and Juicy Orange soaps. Apparently they bath time a little less of a struggle. We do not recommend using our soaps on infants, however. Although we use the gentlest of ingredients, we are generous with our fragrances. In most cases of skin irritation, it is the fragrance that is the cause.

How long will a slice last?

With everyday use, one bath sized bar will last one person about one month in the shower. The hand sized bar will last about 3 weeks with the same use.

This smells so wonderful! How long will it last if I just keep it in a soap dish for decorative purposes?

An unwrapped slice will release scent for several weeks. After that, the outer layer will oxidize and lose it's scent. When it does start to fade, simply wash your hands with it to slough off the outer layer, and you're good to go!
